Navigating College Life

College represents one of the hardest and most important periods in a young person's life. The pressures of college life are becoming increasingly more difficult to navigate. In addition to the normal developmental stresses associated with young adulthood, today's successful college student must consume, manage, and regurgitate more information than ever before.

At the start of college students face greater academic demands than ever before. They are often in their own in a new environment for the first time. All college students experience a great deal of exposure to new people, new ideas, and values that might be very different from the ones they were raised with.  As college students prepare for graduation they often face additional pressures and anxieties. For many college students an objective perspective can be invaluable during this important but tumultuous time.
